“EmPOWER :: Grind and Grow Summit”

INDIANAPOLIS (April 11, 2016) – The EmPOWER Conference will host its “Grind and Grow Summit” on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the impressive Silver Centre Event Hall.  This highly interactive event will create a vehicle for women to reach their fullest potential in both business and their daily lives, while building and cultivating their personal brand.  

Hosted by Jillian “JJ” Simmons from 97.9 The Box, attendees can take part in workshops and participate in expert panel discussions as conference speakers focus on connection, accountability, and development.  EmPOWER is honored to have Kachelle Kelly, founder of Kachelle Kelly International, Inc., a small business & empowerment coaching firm, as its keynote speaker, as well as Koereyelle of “The Single Wives Club” and Alexandra Wolf bka “BossBabe” as its spotlight speakers.  Attendees can expect access to a suite of women-owned businesses and products, a gourmet lunch and hor d’oeuvres (catered by Stargazer), and an open Wine and Juice bar (presented by event sponsors).  All attendees will receive a Power Pack swag bag full of gifts, products, and goodies.  

The Grind and Grow Summit EmPOWER 2016 speakers are a diverse group of local and national experts and business leaders whose experiences will continuously drive home the message of launching into a new beginning.  Other panelists include:  Trezanay M. Atkins, a former intellectual property and business attorney,  Victoria Finch of Business Funding Elite LLC, and Crystal Grave of Snappening. Sponsors include Silver Spoon Events, The Silver Centre, Ciroc Apple, Star Media, Leak Magazine, and many others.  VIP tickets holders will have access to a plush suite to meet and greet with speakers, take photos, and receive special treats, open bar, and a special gift.  

EmPOWER has also plans to publicly honor eleven of the favorite women to praise their business accomplishments.  The women whom have been invited to be honored are Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever, Martha Hoover of Cafe Patachou, Nikki Blaine of Nikki Blaine Couture, Elizabeth Henry, a successful franchisee, Alpha Blackburn of Blackburn Architects, Debra Asante of Asante Children’s Theatre, Courtney Cole and Monica Peck of Hare Chevrolet, Jackie Fuqua of Fuqua Institute of Beauty Culture, Maggie Lewis, president of the Indianapolis City County Council, and Iris Cooper of JustAskIris!.  These women have blazed many trails and these trails should be acknowledged and celebrated by other women.
