Steward Speakers Series Presents Beverly Bond, Dj and founder of Black Girls Rock. Beverly has triumphed through adversity while relentlessly pursuing the celebration of African American women not only in the entertainment industry but, women making an impact in their community and entrepreneurial journey.

Beverly founded Black Girls Rock in 2006 as a mentoring program, but in 2010 Bond partnered with BET to televise the honors hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King; featuring award presentations and showstopping performances.  The honors ceremony, received with much success has sense received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Variety Series.
